The Presence Live is rooted in the Christian tradition, but over time our spiritual perspective has grown broader. We’ve come to see compassion, creativity, presence, service, and the search for meaning as deeply human experiences that are not limited to any one faith tradition.
Our Christian roots remain part of our story and are reflected in some of our music, but The Presence Live is not built around a shared creed. We welcome people of every faith, no faith, and every place in between.
You may not be able to change everything, but you can change something.
We take the Golden Rule one step further.

Rooted and new.
All of the music of The Presence Live is original, and it reaches across genres—from sacred and classical traditions to folk, soul, gospel, world music and beyond. We reach past traditional hymns and familiar church-music categories.
We draw on centuries of spiritual and musical tradition while giving those traditions a new voice for the world we live in now. Ancient texts, chants and sacred forms may meet soul, folk, gospel, orchestral music and sounds from around the world.
The result is music that feels both rooted and new.
